Cheers to the Season at NH's Craft Breweries
'Tis the season to celebrate, which means festive gatherings with family and friends. Our real estate agents love to meet up with near and dear ones to enjoy seasonal beers and cocktails at these great breweries and tap houses in New Hampshire.
- Schilling Beer Co. - 26 Mill St., Littleton, NH 03561
The Cozzens family, natives of Michigan, brought the quality craft beer of the Midwest to the community around Littleton homes for sale with Schilling Beer Co. Named for their late grandfather, Dr. R.J. Schilling, the brewery recently celebrated their first decade in business. A traditional highlight of their European-inspired small-batch brews is Weihnachstbier, their annual holiday beer. Each year's version brings subtle differences in the flavor profile as the Cozzens honor the tradition of holiday Bockbier style. Hours are noon - 8 p.m. daily except Friday and Saturday, when doors are open until 9 p.m.

Moving Into Town
I was recently talking with one of my regular customers at my store about the local area, and she was surprised to learn I've lived here all my life. Alternatively, I was surprised to learn that she has not lived here much longer than a few years. She looked at me somewhat sheepishly and asked what I thought of new folks moving into the area. I realized she was probably expecting some sort of sarcastic response, or an overall general disdain for folks who relocated here in recent years. I explained that I think change is good (and necessary).
I don't feel any type of negativity towards folks who move into the area. Most of the time, I feel really inspired by the people I meet who have moved here, because with new people come new minds and new ideas. They not only have a different perspective from living elsewhere, but they...

Smart Recycling Tips Every NH Homeowner Should Know
Recycling in Holderness, NH, and the surrounding areas is more than just a responsible habit—it's an essential part of maintaining the beautiful environment that makes New Hampshire such a wonderful place to live. Whether you've recently moved or have been in your home for years, understanding how to maximize your recycling efforts can make a big difference. Our real estate agents know how important it is for local homeowners to stay informed, so here are a few practical tips to help you recycle smarter.
- Understand Local Recycling Rules
Each town and city in New Hampshire may have slightly different recycling guidelines. It's crucial to familiarize yourself with what's accepted in your area to avoid contaminating the recycling stream. Holderness, for example, has single-stream recycling, meaning all recyclables can be placed together in one bin. But not everything can be recycled—plastic bags, for instance, can damage machinery at recycling facilities. Stick to clean, dry materials like cardboard, paper, glass, and certain plastics. Check your local municipality's website for a detailed list of accepted items.
